randoms abt. Moldova things you didn´t knew, probl dont need to know, but that I am telling you.

Newest:- Culture clash: Danish people, or me, have some how been raised to compliment things. As an example: if you are invited to someones house you are suppose to compliment things, you know people are very happy about. If they nittet some things you say, awwwww that´s cute... etc.
In Moldova, they are raised to give things, whenever people express interests in something. After some time I have managed to avoid getting random bits and pieces which led to a bit of frustration for my friend, and she ended up asking: "is there anything in this room you like".

The older you are, the more you are allowed to push. Translated it means: Watch out for babuskas in the trolleybus, if they can - they will push you out when the door opens...

When you take off your shoes, put them beside each other in the right way - otherwise it means bad luck, and someone will loose money. ( For some reason it is always about money...)

- traffic: when people honk their horns it either means get off the road, hi friend good to see ya, see my car works or I am overtaking

- You are lucky if you meet anyone who can read a map ( Not that I am judging)

- it is not called transnistrea but pridestrovie. The first name is mean Moldovian propaganda - for more info see: www.pridnestrovie.net under bad information or something.

- do not whistle inside a house - you will invite the devil in, and someone will either die or lose money (depending on google website)

- for some reason people cover their ears when there is a draught inside. I don´t know why.

- in terms of time always estimate people to be at least 30 - 40 min late. Like in South Am. just not-

- Do not sit on the ground or on the stairs. It is rude and ppl. will either stare and curse at you or give you money.
